Battlefield Modlight

Every few weeks we will be reviewing a different mod and inviting all Battlefield Players to join us in gaming sessions on the "ModLight Community Servers" that will be hosted after each review.

Modlight
The mod community has been a major part of the Battlefield franchise and we have always been eager to see what these talented teams do with our games after we release them. We here at DICE and EA wanted to provide an opportunity for all of our players to become more familiar with the mods and mod teams that exist in the Battlefield World. Every few weeks we will be reviewing a different mod and inviting all Battlefield Players to join us in gaming sessions on the "ModLight Community Servers" that will be hosted after each review. Tune in for each update and then login in for each gaming session.

ModLight FAQ

What is a mod?
A "mod" is a modification of an already released title. Modding has been a popular aspect of PC gaming for many years and allows players to create their own custom experiences in games they already love.

How do I participate in ModLight?
In order to play along with us on each mod that we review you will first need an updated install of Battlefield 2. Then you will need to download the mod from either the Mods Website (which can be found in each review) or from one of our promotional partners:
